Join Hyper Game Jam to make fun simple 1-touch games and win cash from our biggest prize pool of 20,000 USD!
All game devs, artists, designers, content creators and gamers are invited! Competition runs from May 25th until June 12th!
It is time to show your creativity and create new amazing games in this 3-week long game jam! Get in, get creative!
¶ What is the game jam theme?
Make your game with 1-touch gameplay such as tapping the screen at the right time for interaction. Focus on a simple gameplay that will look as fun as it feels to play. Innovate with satisfying, bite-sized and simple gameplay that is easy to learn, but possibly hard to master. Games must have a leaderboard for having more fun with some friendly competition.

¶ How much time do I have to create?
Make and publish your game anytime between May 25th and June 12th to participate and a chance to win!
¶ What game engines or tools can I use?
Games must be built using HypeHype on your mobile phone, tablet, desktop or web browser. HypeHype is free and there is no coding required!

¶ How to join
¶ Rules
• Game is playable with 1-touch gameplay mechanic
• Game includes a leaderboard
• Game description includes hashtag #HyperGameJam
• Game is published by June 12th
• Multiple game entries are accepted
• One prize per creator (best performing game if multiple)
• Winners are decided by the community by using engagement metrics such as received likes, comments, shares, plays & playtime
• Game engagement metrics will be calculated from the publishing date and until June 19th to find the winners
• Game and creator behavior must follow HypeHype’s Community Guidelines
• Remixes games are allowed, but they must be unique. Otherwise HypeHype’s algorithm will not favor games
• Two prize categories: Experienced Creators and New Creators
• • Experienced Creators = creators that have published 5 or more games on HypeHype before the start of the game jam
• • New Creators = creators that have published 4 or less games on HypeHype before the start of the game jam
¶ Judging
The community decides the winners by playing and engaging with the games.
Our data wizards will calculate several engagement metrics including game likes, comments, shares, plays & playtime to determine the winners.
- TIP! To improve your game virality, share it with your family and friends, stream on Twitch or post a video to TikTok or YouTube by using appropriate hashtags (#HypeHype, #HyperGameJam). You can also promote it on the HypeHype Discord!
Anything can improve your chances of being seen and played by more players.

¶ What is HypeHype
HypeHype is a new online destination for game makers, indie devs and players. Create and play games for free on any device - your phone, tablet, desktop or web browser.
