The Speech components creates speech from text.
| Execute | The component is executed by links from other components. |
| On Start | With this enabled the component will execute when the Hype starts |
| Enabled | Enable or disable the component. When disabled the Delay will not pass signals that are sent to it |
| Captions | Enable or disable captions. With captions enabled the text will appear on screen as it is being spoken |
| Text | Enter the text to be spoken |
| Voice | Choose the voice & language of the speech |
| Speed | Set how fast or slow should the text be spoken |
| Pitch | Adjust the pitch of the voice |
| Volume | Adjust the volume of the voice |
| Start Delay | Create a delay between the component being executed and the speech starting. Value is in seconds. |
| Caption Location | Set where on the screen captions will appear |
| Caption Size | Size of the caption text |
| Color | Text color. Selected index or color vector |
| On Speech Start | Create links to other objects and components that will be sent when the speech starts |
| On Speech End | Create links to other objects and components that will be sent when the speech ends |
