Collab Editing is all about creating Hypes with your friends! Other creators can join your Hype and help you with your games. You can also invite other creators to share ownership of the Hype, so everyone can work on it on their own time.
Here are some terms you will need to know:
Reminder: Only the host can save the Hype.
First of all, we cannot stress this enough: ONLY ADD TRUSTED USERS TO YOUR HYPE. This will ensure that your Hype is not messed with.
Adding members to an existing Hype:
To add a user to your Hype as a Co-Owner/Editor:
Now the Co-Owners/Editors see that hype in their profile (either in Published, Unlisted of Draft section).
Adding members to a new Hype:
You can also give participation roles to others when you are creating a Hype in editor.
Those permissions can be reverted to a spectator in the same menu as well.
Starting a collab editing session with other members:
Any other member of the Hype can do the same and they will be connected to the same session automatically.
Changing hosts:
Now the host-role will be transferred to another member of the Hype in that session.
When members make changes to the Hype, the current host of the hype can either save the hype normally or press back, which triggers a Cloud Save.
Cloud Save changes can be seen by other members only in the editor, they are not shown outside it until the Hype is saved.
