The General Settings menu has 3 tabs, Orientation, Gameplay & Multiplayer
¶ Orientation
¶ Primary Orientation
Set the intended orientation of the device when your Hype is being played. Is your Hype designed to be played in portrait or landscape?
¶ Landscape Behavior
How should the image adjust when switching between landscape and portrait? You can choose here to crop the image or have it expand to fill the screen. How these options work will depend on the Primary Orientation.
¶ Gameplay
¶ Tap to Start
With this option turned on players will need to tap the screen before the Hype starts. When it's off Hypes will start automatically once they load.
¶ Description Texts
The Player's Goals and Controls are displayed when a player first enters your Hype and can be accessed via the 3 Dots in the upper right corner during gameplay. Write a brief description of what the goals of the Hype are and how the controls work to help players get started.
These messages can be turned on or off with the toggles on the right. They will both be off by default but will be toggled on automatically when the text field is edited.
¶ Multiplayer
¶ Enable Multiplayer
Toggle this on to enable your Hype for multiplayer
¶ Max Player Count
Set the maximum number of players your Multiplayer Hype can have. HypeHype multiplayer currently supports 2-4 players.
