When it comes to creating Hypes, games or any other interactive entertainment using the powerful HypeHype Editor, there are a few options for getting started.
Remixing can be the quickest and easiest way to get started with Hype Editor. Take an existing Hypes and Remix it to create your own games. Remixing from another Hype or Template allows creators to focus on specific aspects of creating a playable game without having to build everything from scratch.
Remixing is great for new creators and game makers who are learning the Hype Editor tools or just want to put their own spin on the Hype they like. You can change the characters, music and sound, colors, environment, gameplay, or whatever you like!
Remix any existing Hype by tapping the thumbnail in the lower right corner to access the Remix Menu.
In this menu you can find all of the remixes made from the Hype as well as the Hype that it was remixed from.
At the bottom of the screen tap the Remix this Hype button to start your own Remix.
Once finished with the Remixing, just publish your Hype and it will be automatically linked back to the original Hype.
When starting to Create a new Hype by tapping the Plus (+) Icon at the bottom of the screen, creators are given the option to choose a Hype template to start from. You can create your own games, levels, animations, stories, memes and anything you can imagine with the HypeHype Editor!
There are a variety of templates available that have some type of gameplay elements already set up like a drivable car or a character with movement controls. New templates are added regularly.
This menu is where you can save your Hype and edit it's details.
Saving as draft will privately save your Hype to your profile. It will be accessible to your profile across devices, but will not be visible to other players until you decide to publish the Hype.
Publish makes your Hype "live" and playable for all HypeHype players. It will be publicly available on your profile and can also appear in searches and other player's For You feeds.
Find more information of the different details you can edit before publishing on the How to Save Wiki Entry.
To create a playlist tap the ••• icon on any Hype and select Add to Playlist then select Create a Playlist.
Get even more details about Playlists in the Playlists Wiki Entry.

HypeJams are regular game jams, events or challenges handed out by Frogmind developers.
Participating in HypeJams is a great way to get familiar with the Editor and meet other creators. There's almost always a HypeJam running, check the HypeJam page for more information on participating!
Need some help learning the Editor? There is an Editor Help Wiki accessible at any time while working in the Editor. A complete overview of the Editor can be accessed by tapping the Help (?) Icon located in the Hamburger menu on the top left of the screen.
Look for additional Question Mark (?) Icons throughout the Editor to access detailed entries on specific tools and features.
The official HypeHype Discord is a great place to get Editor help, give feedback and request new features, and hang out with other Hype creators, players and Frogmind devs.
